Project Title
Onboard Intelligent Device for Public Transportation Systems
Description
Inspired by the problems frequently encountered in the public the transportation system, in this capstone design project we are building a device that will add certain automated features to the local transportation vehicles and management systems. This device called OBID” (Onboard Intelligent Device) can be fitted in different transportation systems enabling the vehicles to automate various processes including vehicle health, location, carbon footprint and traffic forecasting. Selected information from the connected vehicles will be shared in real-time with the public and regulating authorities, who can process the data to optimize the utilization and experience of local public transportation. This is a joint project with Shah Zadi and Tehami Siraj.
